After the Halos came off a huge win last night against the Dodgers, they fell short of the Rangers tonight. Following a rough 1st inning for Kochanowicz giving up a 3 run HR to Adolis Garcia he had a pretty decent start.
Even with the Angels making a few errors through the duration of his start he was able to weave through traffic and end his outing with, 6IP, 8 hits, 3 runs and 1BB. He did give up quite a few hits but he got out of the jam every inning but the first for a quality start. Neto and Stefanic rolled this double play to get out of the 5th.
The Angels offense tonight was held to a minimum tonight by cody Bradford. Only tallying 4 hits the whole game and 3 of them came off the bat of Zach Neto. Speaking of Zach Neto, he came into the game hitting .396 against lefties which is the highest in the AL. He racked up 2 more hits off of a lefty tonight which puts him ver .400. I would also like to add that Cody Bradford only gave up 2 hits tonight and yes you guessed it, Neto did have both of those. It’s a shame the rest of the Halos offense really didn’t have much to offer for tonights game, it was just that first inning that screwed everything over.
If anyone was wondering how the Angels scored their only run it was on a Nolan Schanuel jam shot to short, it was a pretty weird situation.
Here it is.
There was not much action after this.
Final score Rangers 3 Angels 1
