Oh my gosh, I just got out of email verification jail where I’ve been since the end of July. Somehow I was freed by Jessica and and I don’t think either one of us knows how it happened. I’m just really glad to be back. I lurked since Stirrups had his own site and it never bothered me that I couldn’t or didn’t respond, but the last month, I’ve been going through serious withdrawals not being able to comment. Any way, good to hook back up with the rest of you I really missed the interactions.

I did a quick stat study of the mlb draft. With 6!!! teams chosen it gives teams with good records a great shot at the top, like Cleveland this year. Our odds of #1 are (according to tankathon) 18%. The odds that a team lower than us will get #1 are 37%. It could be any team 4 through 18. And if it’s one of the longshots it means our odds don’t really improve for #2 either since very few pingpong ball combinations would be removed.
