The team will honor the 2002 World Series championship squad tonight. Should be a cool evening.

Ohtani drives in 8 runs yesterday.

Tonight, he throws 8n innings of 2 hit, shutout ball with 13 K’s and gets on base 3 times.

And, 90% of the people on this board want to trade him.

Are you really Angels fans? Or, fair weather friends.

Keeping Sho on the team is our only chance at making the playoffs this year.

You people suck.

Not true that anyone wants to trade him. That was only an exercise in “what if?”

Yes, Eric, I hear you.

I love the electricity that the Sho brings.

It lifts up the team.

I still believe that we can make the playoffs.

And, if we catch fire then, anything can happen.

The bigger question is if he wants to stay. I think he wants a true contender.

I agree.

We are probably going to lose, or trade, the Sho.

It’s painful.

He is bringing some excitement and hope to Angels Baseball.

As a long time Angels fan, I am deeply appreciative.

We’ve suffered some tough years.

And with Arte Moreno, it’s been a fucking disaster…..

It’s not luck, John Henry.

It’s the Sho Show…..

Dude is not a good hitter but… he is better than his average in the clutch. 18 RBIs for someone of his sucktitude is pretty impressive.

Walked away from the game and this thread for a while and just came back. To see that, of course, Rengifo and MacKinnon are responsible for most of our runs, which makes me laugh internally after there was so much frustration on this thread about them at the beginning of the night…

They proved me wrong tonight.

But, Rengifo has been mediocre for 3 years now.

And, he’s still hitting .210.

We need more
