The highlight of the Angels 5-0 loss this afternoon was Dodger Stadium organist Dieter Ruhle playing “Blister in the Sun” as Patrick Sandoval melted on the mound early in the game.
In a season where sub .500 team(s) will make the playoffs, the Angels are on the outside looking in yet again. It appears they will have the ninth pick in the 2021 draft if that is a silver lining. Highlights of the season were the shred of normalcy and familiarity that Victor Rojas and Mark Gubicza calling the games brought to all of us during the most disrupted year of the century.

Eppler definitely had his flaws and it was his time to go but until Arte actually invest heavily into player development, scouts, front office execs, and his employees, we will continue to be the laughing stock of Southern California. 10 years and now there’s going to be 4 different GMs, 1 playoff appearance and 0 playoff wins. This all falls back on how shitty of an owner Arte has been and he deserves 100% blame for this. So fuck you Arte (September) thanks for running us down the gutter.

He was actually fired. According to Jeff Fletcher and all Angels beat writers, the Angels extended Eppler to one year in July she he had one more year left on his contract.

Arte is definitely going hard for Dave. But like you said who knows if Dave will even want the job considering the shit show he’s gonna get himself into. He also has that Nashville ownership venture so his hands might already be tied.
