Taylor Ward strikeout. A hat trick.

Angels faced 9 teams this season.

6-4 vs Astros
5-5 vs A’s
5-5 vs Mariners
4-6 vs Rangers
3-1 vs Padres
2-1 vs Rockies
1-3 vs Giants
1-2 vs Diamondbacks
0-6 vs Dodgers

Can’t expect the team to do well when you lose the series vs 4/9 teams.

that’s .500 ball except for the Dodgers. Not that it matters.

[edit] or two under. Sorry…26-28 except for the Dodgers

You gave them an extra win somewhere. Your list calculates to 27-33.

I guess we’re looking at either an Ohtani strikout or an Adell strikeout to end the season.

Has Hoby pitched in a game this year without giving up a HR?

August was HR free for Hoby. (7 games, 5.2 IP)

At least this HR did not bounce off of Adell’s glove.

1 2 3 inning, again. This is not how you win games.

The Angels cannot even mount a credible threat.

Must feel great to end the season on a 3 game losing streak and still make the playoffs

the Dodgers have 13 pitchers on their team with ERAs under 3.50. How many players are there on the rosters these days? 28? Anyway, 8 have ERAs under 3. Angels have 4 under 3.50. Is there a correlation between that and wins?

It might be b/c they score more runs than they give up.
