We might be bad but we’re better than the capital one ad campaign

Not Halos season tickets.

Was it my imagination or did Trout just look really pissed off?

2027 (or 2028) Trout will be here, Suzuki will be gone

Was that 1 pitch and two outs?

Too bad. I like Samy but I believe this is the last time we’ll see him pitch for us in Anaheim

unless he gains 5 mph on his fastball, he’s just never going to get hitters out consistently. It’s almost like watching a position player out there.

Way to finish strong in front of the home fans.

Who on the Angels thinks a guy with an 87 mph 4 seamer is EVER going to pitch well?

Greg Maddux’s fastball averaged roughly 86 to 90 mph during his prime in the late 1980s and 1990s, before dropping into the mid-80s or lower toward the end of his career.

and I’m not saying Samy is anywhere as talented as Greg Maddux.

yea if you have generational command and movement and you go back 30 years, 87 can work. Seems crazy to me that just in my lifetime, Troy Percival throwing 95 every pitch in the mid 90’s was enough to work, and now we have a guy that throws his changeup at nearly that speed in the starting rotation and a guy that can throw 10 mph faster than 95 in the bullpen.

Moore has the same range as Rengifo.

if we lose today, which seems likely, we will only need to split the last 6 games to avoid 100 losses. The two walk offs this week may have saved us.

Nothing wrong with 100 losses. The 2023 Orioles went from 110 losses previous season to 101 wins.

With this loss we’ll have reached that inevitable day when we clinch being in the top 3 odds for the #1 pick

No error on Siri??

Doesn’t make any sense.

Siri can’t catch an easy fly ball. Then, he jogs in for a throw past second base which allows the runner to score all the way from second base. He’s done these things many times before. He is a cancer. DFA.

I’ve never taken a shine to Perry’s 30+ year old journeyman OFs acquisitions. The only one that I thought was somewhat worthy was Kevin Pillar.

if he was on a team where things like that weren’t allowed to slide then he could be a decent last OF off the bench, but Suzuki and Trout run the team on good vibes where there is no accountability and you are patted on the butt after hitting into a double play that the 2B botches and still easily turns the double play because you walked out of the box.

Sammy Peralta is like that 45 overall ranked player in MLB the Show were you wonder how on God’s green earth did this player ever touch foot on a major league field.

How is Brady Anderson still here, the offense seems to be getting worse, not better.

Happy RJ failed to yield base on balls, struck out 6. Just seven seeing eye straggly looking singles got him. RJ is looking like a lock for next years rotation.

First thing this team has to improve next year is the OF defense. Get Trout to DH, don’t offer Lowe a contract as I think he’s arb eligible. Get someone that can actually play some good OF defense. We need at least one anchor out there. Also please never play Moises at 1B and Grissom at 2B, that has to be the right side of the infield with the least range ever. And Moore isn’t much better.

Two runs isn’t insurmountable. The Halos can do this.
