He literally flipped a switch after the HR and said “I’m going to get a few strikeouts here.”
He seemingly can induce grounders at will or go after guys. It’s pretty impressive.

If we can fix Detmers and make Patrick consistent, we could have pretty good starting pitching.
I’d consider it a big victory if only one of those things happened. Preferably Detmers.
We’d like for you to start working with him next week.
