LA Angels Wednesday News Crash: At least we aren’t A’s fans

Morning Angels fans. I have links for you. They are all only mostly bad.

Angels News

Angels lost again. They started Suarez, so Ron already gave up before the game started.

Oh yeah and Logan O’Hoppe had to leave the game after getting a nut shot. ALWAYS WEAR A CUP.

Let us have some good news, the Angels defense is pretty good. 2 Angels players lead MLB in defensive runs saved in their position. Jo Adell, and Griffin Canning.

Around Baseball

Angels may be bad but at least we aren’t A’s fans. They are ready to design Sacramento and LV uniforms soon. Yeesh.

The Mariners may be in first place in the AL West, but they are still the Mariners. Woo needs an MRI for his forearm. Again. He already missed the start of the season and had to delay starts and be pulled early.

But position players get hurt too! Like Profar, who had a leg injury mid at bat. Or Realmuto who will miss about a month with a Mike Trout like knee injury.

Former Angels pitching coach Bud Black won his 500th game as a Rockies Manager. He also won over 500 with the Padres as their manager. His teams are almost never good though.

Sad news. Former Salt Lake City Bees’ announcer, Steve Klauke, died in an accident. He just retired this offseason since he was 69 years old.

Anything I missed? Post below for upvotes!

Steve Klauke died tragically. Some of us might remember that he substituted for Terry Smith for a few games in about 2016. After that season, I got to meet him at a college basketball game that he was calling in Idaho. He was happy to meet an Angels fan in Idaho and he was really nice to talk to. RIP.

Watching that video makes me think of the Angels and CTPGs guy. The Angels are the dude getting tased. Yeah you hire Washington and try to do other backflips but you end up flat and lifeless. Nice work.

CTPGs guy are the idiot fans screaming that train wreck on. Wooooo. Yeah!! Until that dude is tased and forced to be submissive. Then what is there to cheer for?

That video is for sure the last decade of Angels baseball and fanship rolled up into one ass fart.

Yeah they said last night on the broadcast that’s why Moniak came in to replace him

If he’s out we lose one our most productive hitters, but little will change after another 9 inning game, or games, assuming he will be out for longer than expected.

Offense goes from an F+ to an F-.
Defensively, it goes from an F to an F+…maybe, depending on who plays LF.

The worst part about Suarez is, allegedly, there was some trade traction for him pre-season.

Because unless it was the Milwaukee Milkmen I can’t believe any team would have legit interest in this turd.

Suarez was considered a DFA candidate. I can see a team sending a warm body over in exchange for him early in camp so they can see if can fix him.

Oh yeah and Logan O’Hoppe had to leave the game after getting a nut shot. ALWAYS WEAR A CUP.

I remember my first year of playing softball. It was a synagogue league, so no big deal right? It was, however, modified fast-pitch (e.g. no windup). I was catching. Mrs. red and the girls came to their first game ever. It was the first of a doubleheader, and the darned cup was uncomfortable, so I decided to skip it. I mean, it’s just a beer league, right? What could happen?

I took a bouncer right in the crotch. In front of Mrs. red and my daughters. Had to bail otu and go home to wear an icepack. Last time she and the girls came to watch. It was also the last time I ever skipped wearing the cup, even when I played slow-pitch.

ALWAYS WEAR A CUP!

I’m sure he wore a cup. But even then it would hurt.

I’ve taken a couple of kicks in sparring that jarred the boys even with a cup on.

Biggio to thr Dodgers. Anyone here feel like he was worth a flier for us? Especially with who we are looking to trade at the deadline?

Well he’s 29 years old making $4.2 Million this year so I doubt Arte would ever pay that. But I think Cavan still has options left but can be a free agent after next year Hes a low average high OBP guy who has virtually no power that has position versatility as an average fielder. I’m sure he’ll play an important role for the Doyers going forward..

More importantly, they will start the illegal Drug injections ASAP. Those work 71.8% of the time according to the Doyers.

They assume it will work. Already have a bobblehead planned for next year, Cavan & Gavin DP combo.

Exactly, Heyward, Paxton and Teoscar hitting the ball out like Judge now. It’s like Doyers pay for inside info on testing is why they never get caught. Never thought Ohtani could be better than he already was, Glasnow looking like cy young ?

Might be changing name from ForLife to ForNow. We might be the worst-run organization in baseball. This is getting too painful.

I get it but, candidly, what did you honestly expect? This team won 73 games 2 year in a row with Ohtani and got nothing for him and didn’t replace him in any manner so…..

BUT. At least we get to play out the wisdom of “YER DUH NAH TRAY EDD DER GEN HUH RATE ANAL TALERNT LIKE SHOOHEE EVAH! PERRY ARE STOOPIDZ!” to the bone.

I must be nuts. The trade ohtani island seemed very underpopulated back in 2022. Now I find out that there were tons of guys there, apparently hiding in the bushes together or something.

On the other hand, while it would be nice to have say Andy Pages and Bobby Miller on the team, if we’d made a trade back then marshmallow dick Angels fan would just complain about how they will starve to death and bust.

So it’s really just a matter of which shade of shit we want sipped around here I guess.

Marcotor

Well, they would have sucked when they put on Angel uniforms, because OBVIOUSLY any successful team not named Angels MUST be cheating.

Don’t you read the expert posts here?

Come on, get with the disgruntled little brother fan base!

I advocated (with you) for a trade of Ohtani in 2022 and the pitchforks and fire from the mob was intense. It’s why I never believe in mob mentality. People are generally emotional and therefore lacking reason.

I was on a road trip and missed everything yesterday.

One thing that didn’t change for sure…Suarez SUCKS!!

Angelstan
Trusted Member

The HR Suarez gave up to Grichek ended the game effectively. It was a bad pitch call IMHO. Grichek hits lefties well. Suarez was already struggling. He managed to sneak a 3-1 fastball by Grichek. That set up any breaking pitch you want. The call: the same fastball which unsurprisingly got crushed. End of game.

They should have taken Suarez out before. And they shouldn’t have called that pitch. This isn’t day after logic either. I was saying it at the time.

Angels baseball . . .

Secret to a long life, be an Angel fan, keeps you humble and grounded with all the losing (gives a nice perspective and appreciation of the good things you have in life)……and eat 2 Nathan Hotdogs every day (or any hotdog) except Bar S hotdogs, thats made from an unidentified/unsafe source of protein.
