Tonight we had Reid Detmers hoping to continue his good game streak against the lowly White Sox and Jonathan Cannon. The Angels somehow managed to lose this game. I guess the image is sarcastic.
Inning #1:
Zach DeLoach grounded out to second base. Luis Robert Jr. drew a walk. Andrew Benintendi homered to right. 2-0 White Sox. Andrew Vaughn homered to left center. 3-0 White Sox. Bryan Ramos struck out swinging. Lenyn Sosa singled on a liner to left. Miguel Vargas flied out to Jordyn Adams in center.
Taylor Ward drew a leadoff walk. Zach Neto struck out swinging and then Nolan Schanuel grounded into a double play to end the inning.
Inning #2:
Chuckie Robinson struck out swinging but Jacob Amaya walked. Zach DeLoach singled on a grounder to third. Luis Robert Jr. hit a chopper to Schanuel and Detmers could not handle the feed. The bases would have been loaded except the lead runner scored on the error. 4-0 White Sox. Andrew Benintendi grounded out to score another. 5-0 White Sox. Andrew Vaughn tripled. 6-0 White Sox (and counting). Bryan Ramos grounded out to second to end the top of the inning.
Niko Kavadas popped out to third base. Matt Thaiss struck out looking. Eric Wagaman homered to make things just a little less embarrassing. 6-1 White Sox.
Charles Leblanc struck out to end the inning. At least I got a highlight.

Lenyn Sosa homered to make things a little more embarrassing. 7-1 White Sox. Miguel Vargas flied out to right field. Chuckie Robinson struck out looking. Jacob Amaya struck out swinging. For the Angels, Jordyn Adams struck out swinging. Gustavo Campero grounded out to second. Taylor Ward grounded out to first.

Zach DeLoach flied out to center. Luis Robert Jr. popped out to Schanuel at first. Andrew Benintendi walked. Andrew Vaughn flied out to left field. Zach Neto grounded out to third. Nolan Schanuel singled on a liner to right. Niko Kavadas struck out swinging as did Matt Thaiss.

Bryan Ramos struck out swinging. Lenyn Sosa grounded out to third. Miguel Vargas lined out to right field. Eric Wagaman lined out to right field. Charles Leblanc homered to left center. 7-2 White Sox.
Jordyn Adams grounded out to short. Gustavo Campero struck out swinging.

Chuckie Robinson struck out swinging. Guillermo Zuniga came in to replace Reid Detmers. Jacob Amaya struck out looking. Zach DeLoach struck out swinging. Taylor Ward flied out to short. Zach Neto flied out to center. Nolan Schanuel also flied out to center. This is not heading in a good direction.

Andrew Benintendi homered again to make it 8-2 White Sox. Andrew Vaughn flied out to right field. Bryan Ramos grounded out to third. Niko Kavadas was hit by a pitch. Matt Thaiss lined out to third. Eric Wagaman grounded out to third but managed to advance Kavadas to second base. Charles Leblanc walked. Jordyn Adams hit a bloop single to the perfect place. 8-3 White Sox.
Gustavo Campero singled on a liner to Andrew Benintendi in left. Leblanc scored. 8-4 White Sox.
Taylor Ward struck out swinging.
Inning #8:
Ryan Zeferjahn came in to pitch. Lenyn Sosa flied out to center. Miguel Vargas also flied out to center. Chuckie Robinson grounded out to short. Comeback time! Zach Neto grounded out to third. The White Sox brought in a new pitcher (Fraser Ellard) that they got at the trade deadline. Nolan Schanuel grounded out to Miguel Vargas at third. Niko Kavadas then struck out swinging.
Inning #9:
Jose Quijada came in to pitch. Jacob Amaya singled on a grounder to second base. Zach DeLoach struck out swinging. Luis Robert Jr. flied out to center without advancing the runner. Andrew Benintendi walked. Andrew Vaughn also walked. Bryan Ramos gave one a ride to left but Taylor Ward caught it.
So now Justin Anderson, formerly of the Angels, came in to pitch for the White Sox. Matt Thaiss struck out swinging. Eric Wagaman struck out swinging. Charles Leblanc lined out to right to end the game. The Angels lose 8-4.
