The extent of being magnanimous begins and ends with thanking the Rangers for concluding the 2023 season.

Texas still sucks.

Whenever I see that photo it brings back a flood of memories. l still remember watching that game with my grandpa like it was yesterday. He was so upset for Mauch not leaving Witt in the game to finish it – talked about it for weeks after they lost the series. He was devastated.

In 2006 I was living in Washington state and my grandpa came to visit and we went to a Mariners game. After the game was over we went and had some food at a cafe right across from Safeco field…and Dave Henderson was there. He was working on the M’s broadcast team at the time. He walked right by our table and I got up and said “Hendu!” and he stopped and shook my hand and I told him he owed my grandpa an apology for ’86. He laughed and so did my grandpa. I don’t think my grandpa would have laughed had we not won it all in ’02.

Anyways, congrats to the Rangers – now lets get on with the postseason!

Andrew Heaney with a ring. Trout is ringless.

2022, Texas 68-94, Angels 73-89

2023, Texas 90 wins, WS Champs, Angels 73-89

Artie’s his own worst enemy. His indecisiveness is the reason they had Nevin and the rest of their coaching staff this year. The rangers had a plan that worked out. They were lucky and they made some good choices. And they overcame a lot of injuries during the year as well. They definitely have a better farm system as well. The time for the Angels to have put together the supporting cast they had this year would have been 5 years ago with a younger Trout and 5 years left of Ohtani.

Alex Thomas, you can’t miss that ground ball and start a Rangers rally in the World Series.

Didn’t SF have champagne waiting for them in 2002?

Stupid hold of the runner by the 3rd base coach on that single up the middle. Should be 2-0.

Rooting for the snakes is similar to rooting for the Angels 🙄

Tejas is overanxious, allowing Gallen to get through 3 innings on only 27 pitches
