Yeah, the Dodgers (and Yankees for that matter) are indeed well run. But it’s easy for fans of other teams to forget how much easier it is to be well run when you have the cash to make other team’s mistakes work for you by taking on their David Prices and also having the cash to strait up erase the effects of paying Cody Bellinger, Craig Kimbrell and David Price 49 million this year. Those costs would absolutely cripple 2/3 of the MLB clubs and we’ve seen how it even gives “the other LA team” a solid limp.
Dodgers vs Padres is a fun series, I just don’t like the brown and gold color scheme too much. But Smith started out in those colors as did Winfield and I loved Tony. I’m still rooting for SoCal Strong, Go Dodgers!
I’m watching NY/Cleveland and my wife who is mostly on her laptop looks up and says it’s obvious these teams are better than the Angels, yeah. Sigh, anyone can see…

The Padres colors are awesome. I think their brown jerseys circa 1979-1980 are the best road jerseys in the history of professional sports.
