Kinda where I’m at too. I get it, injuries, tight budgets, meddlesome owner, on and on. But it’s not like injuries and budgets only affect the Angels. The musical chairs just smells of desperation.
listening to the Mariners talk yesterday (we get Mariners talk but not the games…which is weird but ok..) they’re concerned that if they don’t get the 1st wild card they’ll have to play on the road in the playoffs…as if they don’t realize that 1st spot is just barely closer for them than missing out entirely. Seattle 2 1/2 behind Toronto, 4 ahead of Baltimore. Let’s go, O’s!!
Even among those, I would rank Suzuki tied for last with that Z guy. There is a small chance Duffy or Ford could be on the roster. Z is getting an audition, which he obviously failed.
Would be ok with us having a rotation of Ohtani, Sandoval, Suarez, Detmers and Lorenzen and only needing to sign 1 decent SP (if no one else is really pushing for a spot like Detmers did this year).
Actually, most of the year he pitched pretty well. Most of the high ERA is those couple of 3 inning starts before going on the IL, so wonder how soon that shoulder started acting up.
yay Mikey! Honestly all I want for this season is for Trout to finish around .280, Sho to finish around .270, both get a couple more HRs, Sho win 15, Fletch be named player-manager.
F these morning games midweek
Defensive wizard Jo Adell apparently showed up today, lol
Protecting the Tank! Moved ahead of the Rangers, that is all that matters.
Duffy, Ford, Adell, Suzuki, Stefanic, Sierra…Po’boy Perry calls this his DuFASSS line-up.
Seriously, Perry does not deserve another year. Line-ups are flat out insulting. The regime change will save him for 1-more year.

Typical loss against a bad team. Yawn.
Ohtani for MVP!
😀
… and yay draft position!
That’s all I got for this game.
😃
sigh….once upon a time we were 3 runs up
Yeah but 77 wins are possible!
Wish this guy could hit better.
Wish our team could be good.
whole new ballgame.
Hell of a play on both ends!
so much for Lorenzen’s outing.
But so predictable
Loup is one of the new IRs agents. 😀
this will be interesting with Loup….
Wrong kind of interesting.
Lousy Loup. Same crap, different day.
Too bad. Walsh makes that play.
But he can’t hit lefties. So he wouldn’t have been in anyway. And we’d be complaining if he were.
No lie. He looked awful at the plate but I’m hoping it was the injuries he was playing with.
Happy to be here and glad to be a part of the team! God willing with hard work I can contribute.
are you in the best shape of your life?
“This is a crazy game with so many things beyond your control. Staying in shape is one of those things.”

Playing catch up. Did Gubi say “real good read” and “Adell” in the same sentence? That’s cool I guess!
Maybe as pertains to a literacy fundraiser Jo participates in.
What possible reason is there for Suzuki to ever play another inning for the Angels except one game to say good-bye.
the same reason Ford is at first, Sierra is in the OF, Duffy is hitting cleanup, Zastrynsky is on the roster.
We have the president of Ukraine in our bullpen?

How dare you diss “one of the all-time greats” (Patty O’s words, not mine!)
How can I argue with the legendary Patty.
Lorenzen is auditioning for a contract next year. I hope he passes it.

If he pitches like today, sure. It hasn’t been a great year up until now.
Actually, most of the year he pitched pretty well. Most of the high ERA is those couple of 3 inning starts before going on the IL, so wonder how soon that shoulder started acting up.
That’s the problem. The transition to starter hasn’t gone smoothly. Injuries. Inability to go deep into games. Maybe he improves. Maybe not.

Really want Trout to finish top-5 in the MVP race.
this could be a no-hitter
For our pitcher? 😳
I meant for them but the Plumber has fixed it
Now he’s clogging the basepaths!!!!
The sho must go on.
Scarcely worth watching.
Is he having a scheduled day off or is he hurt?
Per Jeff Fletcher: Ohtani is off, as scheduled. He’s pitching tomorrow.
