I am trying to be positive here for a change. Remember 2001. If you are old enough to remember it the same thing was being said back then and yes I was one of them.
They need that right mixture of Veterans and young players. That 2002 team was a thing of beauty. Ecstein, Erstad, Salmon, Anderson, Glaus, Fullmer, Spezio, Molina and Kennedy (Offensive Lineup). Veteran leadership of Salmon, Anderson. Young guys with Ecstein, Kennedy. And the grit of Erstad. They were able to put it altogether and go on that Magical play off run. Not sure when that will happen again
maybe reboot the ward at third base experiment to allow this. I’m crazy enough to try the defensive loss for the offense. If anyone hits the ball at adell or ward we can play the benny hill theme song over the stereo
Off topic, but they should have left Houston in the National League. Brought Colorado over to the American League. Angels always seem to struggle against Houston.
It didn’t make sense to me back then either. And it messed up the interleague situation. Where you had the Angels vs Dodgers, Oakland vs San Francisco, and Texas vs Houston. And yeah of course once Houston switched over they started to be good
They did not get good immediately upon the switch over… it took 2 seasons for them to (barely) get above .500 for two seasons… then they cheated and won 100+ games/the World Series.
The biggest intrigue is to watch Perry and see what he will decide to do. Will he allow himself to be tricked into thinking this team is a contender, like he has been duped with Rengifo or will he shed his trade chips; Thor, Zen, Marsh and Squid (lol). The only keepers are Trout, Ohtani and Sandoval.
Here’s what I don’t like. The Angels site is all ‘Lorenzen fans three’. I mean that’s just so uninformative to the bigger picture.
Every year this bad team over achieves and goes 18-7, or 16-9, so I think they already had that one good streak earlier
15 Ks in a game used to mean something.
Sad angels make me sad. I think what makes me more sad is that there isn’t too much hope for brighter future, am I missing something?

Got to hope someone wises up in this franchise and sees what needs to be done. Can’t keep the slop in Wade and a few others around any longer.
Time to bring up Adell and let him play the rest of the season. Seems like these shitholes in the front office are just playing with him.

At that time everyone was licking their chops. Astros were bad then.

Shocked Angels did not allow another special moment for an opposing player
At least Marsh hustled it out
Just got home from work and saw the score. Not gonna bother. I did see we’re tearing it up with the bats again. Good job shohei with the dinger!!
Teams are supposed to be playing better coming off of an Off day, not these Angels though
So Wade makes a play after the game is out of reach. Like it matters.
lol Thaiss behind the plate? Let Trout pitch while they’re at it…
Perfect then we can have a Trout pitching snow globe night.
Equivalent of a position player pitching.
Absolutely brutal stat there… 1-32 when trailing after 7 innings.
I wonder how we pulled off that one win.
I think it was May 5th vs the Red Sox… tied 3-3 in the 7th, went down 4-3 in the 8th, won it in extras.
Great memory.
Said this before because we’ve been blown out a lot but most teams get angry when they get lit up.
Not this team.
Screw Apple TV

He’s not Mensa. I think he will make bad moves or do nothing.
Thor and his Mini Me must be a package deal.
12 K’s in 19 AB’s. Really showing what they’re made of aren’t they.
Such a garbage team. Back to Stranger Things.
Trout looks so despondent out there. I think he has finally reached the breaking point.
They should put a Trout Cam in the corner so we can track his mood.
lol was thinking the same thing
I saw that too.
Isn’t this the same pitcher who threw a no hitter against the Yankees?
I think so. They’re saying he’s had like a hundred strikeouts last two games.
Maybe they should’ve watched video on the guy.
Where does Houston find these pitchers. Or are they cheating again?
It’s called scouting. We don’t do that.
Come on now. We spent a lot of time scouting the hot selling city connect merch. Where are your priorities?
The Angels are making this guy look like 1986 Mike Scott
