A 2026 healthy Trout is hopeless, 7-hrs since Memorial Day, getting out-RBI’d by Grissom with 100 less ABs. Sure, he takes his walks to increase his OBA/OPS but we need him to crush.
The thing that is starting to bother me is that the media, fans and the league all still revere him based on what he did from last decade. Come back next year and bat him down the order. Too bad he refused to be moved in a trade.

Pickings are slim for sure so that is next years problem to solve. If we come back in 2027 and see a 36-year old in the No. 2 hole, we’ve succumbed to mediocrity.
