After Neto broke the tank tracks last night, Sgt Suzuki has em back rolling
back to a 56-106 pace. Perry was so happy about our 72-90 season (which he probably deliberately tried to pass off as 73 wins so it wouldn’t be 90 losses…but it was) and how great it was because it was so much better than the previous 63-99 year. I’m sure if he sticks around, if we go 56-106 and if there’s a 2027 season and if we go 65-97 he’ll try to pass that off as a sign we’re coming around
At least Trout homered and the strikeout rate has decreased significantly over the past week. Perhaps we’re on the cusp of another streak….

Watching Trout being relatively healthy and actually playing this year is also the only reason I’m tuning to the games here and there. Last night, Gubi mentioned he’s on pace for 40 HRs. I hope he goes on a tear and gets to 45, or if I’m even hoping for 45, that he beats Glaus’ franchise record and hold all the Angels records as he plays his last few years with the team.

Ironically, even though he’s battled injuries and his well past his prime, he’s still our best all around player.
