I’m not a GM or even have history being baseball ops, but it shouldn’t take a rocket scientist to realize this is dumb to do to a young player.
Speaking of misusing prospects, I read that Dana got pulled from his last start in the 3rd…after fatigue. 6.38 ERA so far this year. Not sure I see the hype anymore. Hasn’t really pitched well in 2 years between AAA and majors because Angels be Angels.
Tried to look up the probability of winning if you score 6 but all I could find was slop like ”75% if your opponent scores 5 or less “. Excuse me but it feels like it would be 100% in that case
