September 22, 1966, Red Barber was announcing the Yankees game at Yankees Stadium it was a late in season meaningless game, there were 413 in attendance. Barber was ordered by the Yankee brass to not say anything about the small attendance. He did, despite the warning, and was fired after the game. I’m guessing the Angels announcers were told to stay mum..or else!
