I just had a feeling that Peraza would bloom out of the Big Rotten Apple. He’s not going to be a HoFer, but he is an asset to the team.
I didn’t know anything about Grissom, but man has he really hit his stride.
That being said, Suzuki will of course bench both players for tomorrow’s game.

Even though I’ve romanticized the dive of this shitstain of a season, I’m happy we’re leaving the “Six” on a high. So stoked they didn’t ruin Mother’s Day in the 8th there. I would’ve bet my firstborn — the one I actually like — that we were destined to go full Rosemary’s Baby-style blowpen horror show again. Canadians are so nice, eh?
