I’m not a psychologist, but I feel like Neto, with his gung ho personality, is trying to make up for his less than stellar fielding by trying to jack one out on literally every swing. This leads to worse and worse at bats and with the added pressure of all the strikeouts leads to more errors. Rinse and repeat.

maybe the best thing for him would be for him to hit a blast, have him watch it from home plate for a few seconds, then have it bang off the wall so he’s held to a single. Something to wake him up
