Close Loss Postgame

The Angels went out to a brief one run lead in the first inning but the Diamondbacks answered with a run of their own. They then went ahead in the fourth inning at 2-1. Mike Trout homered in the fifth inning to give the Angels the tie 2-2. It looked like this.

Arizona scored two more in the seventh inning to go ahead 4-2. In the ninth inning, Donovan Walton homered to make it 4-3 Diamondbacks.

Oswald Peraza struck out. Close, but no cigar.

Trout sprints out of the box on homers, just in case. Zach and Siri should learn from that

Still not at 30 wins.

And damn, what a bad birthday for Oswald

our recent winning streak has put us on a 64 win pace. I predicted 39 wins. Yes, we can!
