Moises and Grissom hit into soooo many double plays. Whenever Moises is up to bat they just try a hit and run on one of the first pitches to avoid the double plays he hits into so frequently.

Perry screwed us so bad. Even forget taking Bremner over Anderson and Moore over Griffin. Right now I don’t even think Shores or Cortez will even be bullpen pieces and they were high draft picks. To take a bullpen guy with a high pick and then not even have them pan out….. man that sucks. Yea I know Shores and even Cortez could still turn into something but it’s not looking all that promising right now.

I think we’ve seen enough from Moore that if we are going to try and get better next year, Moore is not the guy to help in that regard. I think Arraez is going to get too much money relative to what he is worth but maybe he’s an option until Advincula is ready?

Also am I the only one wondering why they even brought Bachman back this year. Dude left the field with an injury to his pitching arm. The season was over, why not just tell him to start his rehab and come back strong next year.

I don’t see how they can keep Suzuki around for next year. There is an entire environment of losing that I don’t think he can ever get out from under. This is easily the worst team the Angels have ever fielded with the worst managing and they don’t even seem to care. I feel like we care more than they do.

Was a topic of discussion in the dugout on Sunday. Team source said Kurt has had far more autonomy the last month or so of the season and was a driving force in getting Maddox gone.
It was not a ringing endorsement but it sounded like they are evaluating Kurt more on the last six weeks of the season than anything else.
