I’m really curious to see the lineup Kurt rolls out. I’ll continue to bang the release Soler and slot Trout into the primary DH role, drum. The defense would certainly benefit from having The Meck (LF), Teo (C) and Adell (RF) roaming around.
Peraza is one of only 3 players on the team who are hitting above replacement level and he is hitting 7th? He is the second best hitter on the team after Trout. Meanwhile, Nolan Schanuel and his .685 OPS continues to hit 3rd. I can’t support or root for Suzuki any more.
An important test for Urena tonight. He looked really good in his previous start and the mark of a good pitcher is consistency and stringing together quality starts. On the flip side, we’re facing Nathan Eovaldi, who generally owns us.
Wally World tonight. He checked in 17th in BA’s rookie rankings —
17. Walbert Ureña, RHP, Angels
Ureña wowed in spring training to surprisingly crack the Angels’ Opening Day roster after pitching at Double-A last year. He began his MLB tenure as a reliever before going back down to Triple-A to stretch out, only to resurface as an effective starter for the Angels. While walks are an issue, Ureña has the highest groundball rate among rookie starters and the second-fastest fastball only to Bubba Chandler.
Meckler #53 jerseys need to be a thing, so as the entire front office is scratching their heads and having meeting about giving him a banner spot at the front entrance ! 🤣🤣🤣🤪🤪🤪
I didn’t catch the first 6 innings, from the boxscore GRod’s velo strong once again. Very promising. Bachman is having a strong season thus far. In an alternative universe, he pans out as a starter. Oh well, might as well make him the closer.
Peraza getting full-time PT will hurt the tank significantly and I’m good with it. Dude is a baller.
It was George Costanza Opposite Day. They pitched reasonably well, made some great defensive plays, and hit the Crap out of the ball. Except for Trout on defense, he made a horrible play in CF that cost them 2 runs. Peraza made a play on the grass behind 2B that was an RBI single and then it wasn’t on a bang bang play. It was amazing. At least whoever plays LF tonight won’t be Lowe. Suzuki will find a way to squash any progress.
When your team only has three K’s and hits the ball, they have a chance to win. Too bad these types of games are rare, but we’ll take it and still keep return watching so we can see more of this type of game with very little complaining, right!
Actually thought you were serious since you tend to be a pretty positive guy. But I am glad you were not…it might have caused me to question your sanity.
There isn’t enough positivity in the world that could justify any expectation of this team scoring 9 runs in one week, let alone in back-to-back games.
I don’t we all think we will score another run the rest of the game.

Teo can’t hit MLB pitching otherwise I would agree with you. For now its still Soler as the DH.
He can bat .200 just as well as the rest of this team. In addition, he brings speed on the base paths and Plus defense. Net upgrade, such that it is.
the usual first five, then Meckler, Perazo, Rivero, Walton. Soler DH

Trout has made it clear he wants to play CF. Do you think Suzuki would stand up to him?

The Tank stopped for gas last night, it will be up and running tonight

Rec’d, but I hope you are wrong.
And as I said in the game thread, Trout needs to repair his “clutch.”

The Mighty Meck & Pazuzu coming to a theatre near you……

Meckler looks likes he drives an ice cream truck or a white panel van in his spare time.
I’m ordering my Meckler jersey today. That ought to melt down their online store!’ 🤣

I had a straight view of Trout’s miscue in center from the right field sec 131. It was definitely an error on Trout, a catchable ball.
He took a terrible route to the ball.
Love it. I think it’s his mustache that unnerved me.
Maybe, it’s that he reminds me chicken-@#%er from South Park.
🤣
With your luck you will shell out the $350.00 and then they’ll sent him back to Salt Lake the next day, lol.
And I would still wear it proudly, and put a patch on it that says “Free Meckler”
😅
I hope you get it delivered before he gets demoted or DFAd. 😄
Exactly! He looks just like an ice cream truck guy. Where was he a month ago Perry ??
And what about Christian Moore? And Rada ? I know Rada is blocked in CF but we could alternate him between LF and DH.
Just got home. An actual win, that even the blow pen couldn’t blow.

Scoring 9 runs is cool. Let’s do that again tomorrow.
Hate to splash cold water on the celebration, but scoring 9 runs again tomorrow is HIGHLY unlikely !
I presumed that my sarcasm was obvious.

More chance of scoring 9 or striking out only 3 times. There’s one for online betting.
Oh man. That was fun-ish.
What just happened???
I don’t know what to do except complain.
We should have won 9-3!!!
Wait what happened? Where’s the meltdown?
ARTE RULES! ARTE RULES!
KEEP THE TEAM! KEEP THE TEAM!
Haha
Thought you got over that concussion.
I think we’ll need about 10 or 11 more consecutive wins before that becomes a realistic chant DD.
ha ha ha.
yay? A win.
Faris absolutely sucks azz, I don’t get it, why is he up, our left handed pitching that bad. ?
Yes. As is our righty pitching.
It’s so nice to not hold you breath when a grounder is hit to 3b.
Farris will keep the win but Suzuki’s decision to take out Bachman when the team is desperate for a win is telling
yes, especially since Bachman had only thrown 11 pitches in the 8th….
Trout gets cleated by teammate, out for three weeks, no, okay.
