Beautiful pickoff. They had him by a lot.

Bachman in the 6th inning.

Maybe the mindset is if they blow the lead before the 9th inning, they won’t have to call in Romano.

Current bullpen arms for today are:
Anderson – 6.97ERA
Bachman – 4.91 ERA
Pomeranz – 4.50 ERA
Silseth – 2.84 ERA
Zeferjahn – 4.82 ERA
Romano – 8.44 ERA

Forget the closer role, I’m not sure we even have a 7th/8th inning guy to trust.

Well, we got the lead. Let’s get Jordan Romano up!

Peraza has been a pleasant surprise. I don’t know how long it is sustainable, but if this is just a mirage, I’m glad he saved it for the Yankees.

Gotta say, I’m liking this mlb tv on my phone. A nice perk from T-Mobile. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing Peraza driving Trout

Another winnable game. Italian Sam is locked in, let’s go offense!

Good to see the bottom of the order make their pitcher work so hard.

Eye test for this series.

  • Lots of guys that we expected nothing from are overperforming
  • A few guys that we count on are scuffling – Neto and Neto so on
  • Bullpen is as bad as we thought
  • Trout not dead yet

We ish’ on Suzuki a bit, but, he’s completely justified in dropping Schanny in the batting order.

I like it. Peraza rose to the challenge.

I’d put him at leadoff to try and get him going in front of Trouty. Plus Neto isn’t a leadoff hitter

Seriously, who are these guys? Suter…Sandlin…I’ve never heard of the latter until today.

Perry got Sandlin from Salt Lake less than a week ago. So far he has looked bad.
He is rocking a 27 ERA

Late to the game here, so I might have missed something but not the comments. Questioning anything about Neto is just not in order. Have you lost your minds? Have you ever had a bad day while at work? Maybe he needs to sit for a game or two. He is the Angels best player for over two years, and he needs “to grow up” because of he likes blackout on his cheeks. “He needs an ego check” and questioning his BBIQ. Good gravy, I can see why you all can question his health, so Ok maybe something is off, but he will right himself and return to who we all know him to be-reliable and a leader. He certainly has won a heck of a lot more games than he has lost on losing teams since his arrival to the Angels. Last night’s pop up resulting in a loss was a clusterf*ck and the blame should be on 3 different players, not just one. These guys haven’t played all that much together as Angels. Ego checks are not limited to Neto alone around here and now is not the time to turn on him with only being three weeks into the season now is it. Besides, he is really not a leadoff hitter.

It especially stands out because the team as a whole has shown a tremendous increase in patience at the plate

Particularly when Trout is hotter than molten lava.

Suter is just throwing the ball all over the place.
