The furthest trip the Angels will make in the Cactus League. A good 45 minutes with normal traffic, well over an hour with it. Which means the Cactus League >>>>>Grapefruit League.
Angels at Rangers Gamethread
Checked in with Jo Adell about his transition to center field and his toe tap at the plate.
Also, Luis Rengifo (hamstring) got five at-bats today in an exhibition game.
I understand MLB rosters usually are constructed to be as flexible as possible but Suarez, Quijada, Crouse should be anything but locks.
In a meritocracy and effort to field the best bullpen as possible McDaniels and Ryan Johnson make the team.
Today’s game proves the theory that TeTas >>>> AnAls
Our pitching depth should render the need for El Demente obsolete.
DFA Suarez and keep the other 3 lefties – Quijada, Burke, McDaniels
Our POBO, Arte AI sez: “Not much good at all! A long man who can’t actually eat innings is like having a fire extinguisher that only works on small candles. If they’re not providing length when a starter gets knocked out early or saving the bullpen in blowouts, then they’re just a low-leverage reliever taking up a roster spot.”

When it becomes important for a first round pick.
It’s important, but not nearly as much as hit and power. Not even close. He could have found a great fielder available in round one… Which leaves you bitching about PTP taking a glove first player in round one…. but most likely bitching that a guy with power, a hit tool, and a good glove wasn’t available at pick #9 or 11 or where ever if we stick with your bish list.
so I guess I’m not skipping it. I like how we had 3 baserunners and came up with nothing.
