History will be made today. Either the White Sox finally get 121 losses, or the Angels get 95, tying them with the 1980 team as the most in franchise history. And the Angels put out Jose Suarez, gunning for loss 95. He played his part, going 5 innings, allowing 3 runs on 5 hits, striking out 5 and walking 2. He was in line for the loss as the hitters sucked per usual.
I mean, why wouldn’t the offense suck? The Angels lineup was a AAA lineup at best, with barely anyone even qualified for a real MLB roster. And then Nolan got hurt so they were without even him.
Highlighted Recap
Things went south fast with a bad 2nd inning for Suarez, a 2 run home run
The Angels got those runs back in the 4th with a Ward 2 run single
But Suarez, the tank commander that he is, gave up a run immediately, another home run
It got bad, as emotions were high on both teams. Angels pitching coach even got ejected in the 6th, prolly so he can go home
Bases loaded in the 8th, the Angels were about to waste an opportunity yet again, but, somehow, someway, the Plumber came through on a suicide squeeze ACTUALLY WORKING
Too bad the Angels didn’t take the lead, and the game was still tied going into the bottom of the 8th. And it stayed tied through the 9th. EXTRA INNINGS IN SUCK LAND!
10th
A GIDP and a flyout meant the Angels scored none in the 10th. Because they are the Angels
And the White Sox walk off the Angels. Angels lose number 95. Worst Angel team ever.
Upcoming
