Is it still Pride month? I see a picture of Curtis Pride on this thread. He had some awesome times for the Halos. Go Curtis!!!!
I just like Curtis. I did use this image for Pride Night but nobody said anything.
I saw Curtis Pride play for the SLC Bees about 2006 or so. A group of 5-6 of us were at the game and one friend was an autograph hound. He asked Curtis for an autograph right before the game near the dugout but Curtis turned did not respond. My friend said that Curtis was being rude until I explained to him that Curtis was deaf.
The Helen Keller CTPG Chapter? Where do I sign up?
No Heef on AL All Stars?
American League is doomed.
congrats to TA
It irks for me. Helps Anderson’s trade value.
40 man roster so if it were evenly distributed 10 teams would have 3 players each and the other 5, the cellar dwellers, would have 2. We have 1.
Logan O’Hoppe is much more worthy than Heef and O’Hoppe got screwed. Perez and Rutschman have 60 and 80 more ABs than Logan respectively. Bullshit.
Orioles are in 1st place and play in a much tougher division. BTW bullpens don’t matter… especially for losing teams. Trade Estevas
Divisional play and strength has been washed out by the new rules. Rutschman and Perez play in much better teams and have better opportunities..
O’Hoppe deserved the AS nod, simple. Surprised more folks are not annoyed. Do the research.
If Anderson is traded before the AllStar game, do we get another AllStar selection?
Or does Anderson have to wear an Angels logo even though on a new team?
Andeson can wear his Dodger blue uniform with a red Angels cap…LOL. Close the deal Friedman, you bastard.
We need players who can play! Grady Fuson Moneyball movie. No more utility role players or 9th round SPs. We need Navy Seals and Green Berets not National Guardsman.
Talking to youknowlovetheIE.
BTW Toots how many WS rings does GM/POBO Brad Pitt er Billy Beane Have?
I’m Waiting…..

Ultimate fireball I could understand, but intimate fireball? Maybe Capsaicin is involved.
Mookie in the booth for the entire dodger broadcast.
We’ve mastered the 5-0 loss. 3 in the last 5 games.
Now let’s work on something else.
Charles, that’s a very witty thread title
After the game, played the MLB 2025 Draft Sim and Halo’s got the 2nd pick.
Two weeks ago Pineapple said we could go 10-3 in this stretch as we finally got to an easy part of the schedule. F71 thought it more likely we’d win 7, I thought 8..
In a dice metaphor, F71 made the point the hard way.
After we won 6 straight I could see Pineapple’s dream coming true. It’s astonishing that we could then play dead against inferior opposition…. but we did!
Predicted 7-6 but…..
Never thought it would be
6-0 then
1-6
Definitely the hard way.
Moore of the same lifeless offense. I thought yesterday they at least got back on track.. Wrong. And now we face better teams. This ship is gonna sink all the way to the allstar break.
2024 Angels. Play us, we’ll get you RIGHT!
You’re welcome😀
Well, that was a close game. sigh
