Decent outing by Canning…kept us in it.
Was set up well with Rendon/Trout/Ward against a struggling Maton.
That said, Maton isn’t going to struggle forever.
I guess we’ll need the bottom’ish of the lineup to come through.
I think Trout only swings for the fences in key spots and that really hurts him.
He has such a great doubles swing too.
Not even mad about that swing tbh

Weird to say but I like our chances of coming back against the Rays bullpen.
Good thing is, this year we seem to have at least have a chance. Last year this game was over at 2-0.
Most important, they seem to agree with you…showing some grit and confidence
Canning pitched well enough to win. We need a couple of bombs to take this final game.
Once he started throwing more curves, everything else opened up.
