For you savages actually watching ST baseball, how does Trout look physically and how does his swing/bat speed look?

Same questions re: Rendon.

Anderson’s pitching looked the same.

He looks behind. But I guess that’s common ST occurrence? Trout talked with. Fletch about his recent struggles and believes that he’s had chronic bad habit of sliding vs stepping and that’s led to alot of bad habits, and slumps for 2022 and 2923. . He’s now trying g to shake those by getting a lot more at bats in ST than he has in the past.

I dunno, have you heard/seen/smelled Blowhei Sucktani, ate at Yoshinoyamoto’s, had a mookie milkshake or stayed 5 nights at Freddie’s?!? If so, you’ve already won a few rings!

Oh well, we’re under .500 now.

Time to trade anyone of value.

Watched Texas-Dodgers for a spell today. Yamamoto as advertised. That splitter is wicked work. He made a couple Rangers look foolish.

The Dodgers are going to be stupid fun to watch this year.

I just watched the highlights on that game. Yamamoto looks legit with some really poor swings against him. Different motion, almost short arms the ball.

The command is insane. Even in his first outing, he looks like he’s outthinking every hitter and putting the ball just where he wants it.

They’re going to have some real winning streaks this year when things are clicking.

I’ve lived within 5 min of Dodgers Stadium for 20+ years. Every spring I watch a few games to try to get interested in the storylines, and I follow their farm system generally. I always struggle to find a spark – otherwise it’d be so convenient to be a Dodgers fan.

But this season might be a little different. Mookie and Sho are hard not to like, Yamamoto is ridiculous. I tend to follow prospects, rookies and international players – more players than teams – and LA has those in spades this year.

Yamamoto as good as advertised, many teams wanted him, would have been a great attraction on Angels to replace Sho for Japanese fan base. But Sho helps recruit him to his already stacked team. 👎

8 LOBs and 1-8 RISP, hopefully a tread that doesn’t continue. Situation hitting please!!

Yesterday: 9 LOB, 2-13 RISP
Giants: 7 LOB but 4-10 RISP
Royals: 10 LOB, 0-9 RISP
Reds: 7 LOB, 2-11 RISP
Doyers: 8 LOB, 2-14 RISP

Room for improvement on the hitting side.

Been impressed with the bullpen though

Enjoyed seeing Ward leading off ahead of Schanuel. Hope it sticks.

I love hearing the announcers trying to locate the names for the late inning replacements. Hearing Bobby V say virtually anything is less enjoyable.

Terry mentioned yesterday the players with higher number don’t even have their names on the back.

They should just get temporary tattoos with their names and numbers. They would be easy to read with the new Nike jerseys.

I remember little league (like 7 and under) teaching me not to wear my superhero underwear… own team was more brutal than the opposing one. The day of the week ones faired a lot better, belt hid the lettering 😉

If you’re a filler player, they usually asked your size and the number came with it.

Had a similar thought yesterday! Not sure there’s any winners there but that type of deal I’m sure has been thought about.

That doesn’t seem right considering the monies remaining in each Contract. Bryant $136M/5 vs Rendone $115.7M/3)

But I’d do that in a second. Interesting that Bryants contract ends the same year as Trouts and hes only 5 months younger than the GOAT.

Those 85 mph sinkers can be dangerous to his health. All the batters that inning got good wood on his pitches

Interesting… on Gameday, all the in-play balls are now a purple color, instead of blue like they always were.

Maybe this is our year!

I suspect Schanuel will approach Barry Bonds typical season home run numbers this season-If approach means within 50-60 or so.

Are you proposing a trade of bad contracts kind of like Mo Vaughn for Kevin Appier?

Oh, i’m sure he’s happy. He’s a millionaire living in Colorado. It’s not a bad gig.

I’d trade Tony for him straight up. Change of scenery could be good for both.

Interesting.

Bryant is 32 but has 5 years and a $136 Million left while Rendone is 34 and has 3 years and $115.7 Million.

I think I would do it too.
