My best WAR projections have us as a 78 win team next year, missing Shohei. If he is re-signed maybe that brings us to 85ish wins. I just don’t see a path to the playoffs unless many of these you guys emerge by improving their shortcomings Schanuel lack of a hit stick and defense makes him replaceable and Neto’s inability to get on base are big problems. 2 guys we like but might become holes on the lineup. With health and a good manger, they can be these D’Backs or Marlins but that doesn’t compete in the AL.
Watching these two Rangers/Astros games it becomes very apparent: it’s all about the pitching. Rangers pitchers are doing a great job keeping the Astros in check. There is no way that the Angels pitchers would have performed nearly as well.
I don’t see the desire to root for Texas as Angels fan. It would just prove how shit are org is that they can catapult over us immediately. I’d rather say 15 years from now we couldn’t stop a dynasty in our division. Plus as a kid in the 90s, the Rangers were our main rival. I still can’t let go the Juan Gone Era and Kenny Rogers throwing a perfect game as I watched the whole thing on KCAL!
I didn’t realize how much I want Houston to lose until this 1st half inning, as I got this wicked feeling, this ha ha hee hee feeling…and I hate Texas!
I love this Phillies team. This is the kind of team I enjoy watching and rooting for. I would not be unhappy to see Trout go there.
Great idea. Maybe it’s not too late that we can all switch our allegiances to the Phightin’ Phils. You can be first.
Wish I could! Unfortunately I’m stuck with this crappy Organization.
This Philly lineup is impressive and peaking at the right time, both sides of the plate all the way down, LH-RH-LH.
Harper’s for real
I’m glad for his maturation.
The Boch
I’ll admit I have no idea what this is referring to.
Me neither and I’m 2GA2Ask

My calculations show the sun coming up in the north tomorrow. There’s a +/-3 compass directions in that prediction.
They got whipped. Second game in a row.
here’s where we’d put Loup in and go from losing 5-4 to losing 9-4
If that bobble was by an Angels 3rd basemen…..they would still be chasing it after it was kicked, bobbled (again) and thrown around the infield.
I think what Ass’tros are about to do will look familiar to us
Texas-sized Buttercup
Like it or not, it’s gonna happen, here, or in the 9th.
Just refreshed GameDay
How are the Rangers doing this?
Great manager. Very good players.
Texas buttercup must have some Tex-Mex spice added to it. Zesty.
Can’t be like our plain old butter…….or I can’t believe it’s not butter, butter.
Chapman sucks

Hahaha. Based loaded, no outs, no runs. Suck it Asstros.

it’s not FOR Texas, it’s against Houston
Kenny Rogers was an asshole . But his roasters were awesome!
Here here

Go Rangers!
For what it’s worth…
Latest on potential Mets target Shohei Ohtani: Angels reportedly ‘cautiously optimistic’ he’ll return (sny.tv)
surely (Oct. 5th) Ohtani hates the Red Sux as much as we do.
Nice start for Rangers!🐴
8 pitches – why can’t we do this. to Framber?
He hasn’t been the same pitcher since the all star break ( except when hes facing us of course)
