Jimmy Herget pitched a scoreless inning as an opener today. Kenny Rosenberg came in and gave up a homer to Jake Rogers in the second and four other runs in the third including a second homer by Rogers to stake the Angels to a 5-0 deficit after three innings. In the sixth, Javi Baez got an infield single and advanced to second on a Rosenberg balk. He did not score. Logan O’Hoppe single and Randal Grichuk homered to make it 5-3 Tigers.
