3-6 over the last 9 is not great but oh well. I suspect this team will be around .500 all year – sometimes a little above, sometimes a little below. Still better and a more fun team to watch than last year.
I don’t know how many of these tough losses the Angels could take without messing with players (and fans) mentality. I guess Cleveland is the better team playing good fundamental baseball, taking advantage of opponents mistakes even though their offense is some of the worst in MLB this season. It is so frustrating that Angels for some reason cannot play whole game without making mistakes. Do Angels need to score more to overcome these misgivings?
