The offense scoring 1 run in 9 innings is just as bad as the relievers giving up 2 runs in 2 innings…..
I hate pronounced shifts against skinny guys who can’t hit for power. The numbers very well may show he pulls the ball, but I seriously doubt he pulls the ball all that dramatically when you give him a semi sized hole to hit through on the right side. You are just giving him reasons to stay short to the ball and punch one that way and with him leading off that really hurt. Then Loup throwing a slider literally right down the middle…..
