Yeah, you have to think the lead runner would have been halfway to third base when the ball hit the wall and then could have scored.

when the announcers start talking about stuff other than what’s going on in the ballgame it’s because they don’t know how to make the ballgame the story.

I absolutely hate it when a homerun “interrupts” their idle chatter.

I think that the faster game play will mean that announcers won’t be able to go off on their meandering stories that don’t have anything to do with baseball. But we will see.

That’s how I look at it too. Trout, Shohei, Rendon, Drury, Ward, Walsh, Renfro, all hit with power. Scary if you are opposing us and make a mistake.

At this point I think yes. O’Hoppe hasn’t done anything bad this spring but he hasn’t done anything great, either.

Thaiss is out of options. Club gives him the backup job and lets O’Hoppe get a taste of AAA ball until an injury happens.

Brett Phillips is at .080 for the spring. Surely I can do this in my head…8 for 100, 4 for 50, 2 for 25. I bet he’s 2 for 25.

High winds and rain, it’s melting the snow fast and we have flooding. But it’s the million potholes, some can swallow i/2 of a wheel on P/U trucks. I think we may be done with the snow for now. It’s a mess up here.

I’m OK with more snow, but I am also over winter. In November we look out the window in anticipation for snow and when it arrives, we say “Oh look, it’s so pretty and nice.” By March we are thinking “No more of this shit!” 😄

I have owned the cabin for 45 years. I have lived up here for 32 years, prior to this I lived in King Harbor, Redondo Beach. The worst I think was winter of !978-1979. Other bad seasons 82-83, 89-90, 93-94, 2011-2012. All years had storms that brought 6-8 feet with many other smaller storms. Always the worst events have the Pineapple Express involvement.
