This team is so predictable. Get a few wins. Get the fans feeling good. Give out a good promo to fill the joint. And lay an absolute goose egg. Everyone leaves deflated. #theHaloWay

Good loss, we need 14 more to set a new season low. At the end of the season as long as we can draft 4 players in the first 3 rounds (one for Shohei) we will be in the rebuild.

Trash Pandas won 14-5. Neto 3 for 6, 4 rbis. Very limited sample size, but hitting .429. Their lineup is massively better with the three new kids.

I’m gonna have to rate this one as a non-game

Watching Angels baseball has become an exercise in futility.

Sandy should be 7 – 3 instead of 3 – 7.

What pisses me off is Perry M saying that he feels “an urgency to win right now.”

Really?

What the Angels are doing on the field right now is not urgency. It’s an absolute raising of the white flag.

“Urgency to win…..”

What an insult to the fan base of the “LOS ANGELES ANGELS OF ANAHEIM….”

Forgot there was a game on (again). Glad to see they’re back to their sucky ways just in time for the hometown fans.

I’m not trying to give anyone the Blues, but there were a couple of concerning things in the Trash Pandas 14-5 blowout of Biloxi tonight.

Sonny the thicc King struck out 4 times which now gives him 7 strike outs in his last 9 at bats. The game also featured the 2 hardest throwing pitchers in the Angels farm system ( Sam Bachman Ben Joyce) yet despite combining for almost 6 innings they struck out a grand total of ZERO Shucker batters.

But on the really good news front Zach Neto got another 3 hits tonight and made some excellent defense plays . I’m wondering if his defense could play at this level right now and if the Angels would consider bring him up early to develop. Here’s an almost web gem: https://twitter.com/Jared_Tims/status/1558255737259732992

If Tatis was out on IL because of his injury, when does 80G suspension begin? I was about the last to become aware of his PED screw up, but how stupid can you get, but he still comes out on top making 300 million. Does he get paid while being on his vacation?

Starts immediately, no pay, 33 games into next season, but if the Padres make the postseason, those games count against the suspension. Says it was for ‘ringworm” (athlete’s foot, jock itch) which is laughable. In the Friday links thread I mentioned if you’re gonna lie, at least make it believable.

He’s pitching corners, that’s hard to do.

that’ll likely do it for him for tonight. 95 pitches. 5 quality innings. But the hitless wonders don’t help

Fletch 14 for 41 since coming back. Raised his average 100 points.

Too bad it has coincided with Rengifo’s slide

Marsh was 0-4 with three strikeouts today. I am interested to see if Philly can fix his swing and want him to succeed.

Well in all fairness to him, 2 of those were against Scherzer

it’s criminal that Sandy has 3 (!!!) wins this season. He’s pitched really well. Shows that W-L records, these days, are not that good for assessing pitcher performance. Still, I’m sure guys like to be the “winning pitcher”.
