White Sox 11 Angels 4
The fun for the Angels tonight took place early and often, as the affable Andrew Velazquez (Squid), powerful Mike Trout, and photogenic Shohei Ohtani all decided they’d had enough of Johnny Cueto.
That’s not all Ohtani did on the night: he also schmacked two doubles! Ohtani, slated to pitch tomorrow, seems to do one amazing thing after another.
Unfortunately, that’s where the fun ended for the Angels, as the White Sox hammered Halos pitching for ten straight runs. Mike Trout took some more upper-90s chin music (thanks a lot, Joe Kelly) and Brandon Marsh got injured with a knee contusion attempting to chase a sinking liner west of the foul line. Through seven innings, the Angels surrendered 17 hits and recorded 21 outs — that’s a recipe for a WHIPping. During the game, Chelsea Tepera, wife of Angels’ reliever Ryan Tepera, had some choice words for beat writer Jeff Fletcher.
Mrs. Shoemaker is a much better writer. Just sayin’
I always loved reading Rich Thompson’s wife’s blog … Ashley?
The Angels are now somehow wasting two once in a lifetime players. This organization is a complete embarrassment.
What’s more interesting is how two “once in a lifetime” players can make absolutely no difference to the success of a franchise.
12 games back as of now 6/29.
15 games back (or more) by the all-star break on 7/19.
20 games back (or more) by the 8/02 trade deadline when the Angels become sellers..
You know, if you live long enough, you’re 100% sure to get cancer.
&ct=g
As my stepson tells me, “Everyone who drinks water, dies” 😀
The dangers of dihydrogen monoxide…
Well you already have AIDS right now so that’s even worse…
Cancer’s 100% certain to kill you before AIDS gets me. When ever I’m having a bad day I just think about that and I feel a little better.
Well good for you. With that dopey thumbnail pic of Putin he must be your man-crush besides your current husband…
Now that we’ve seen Mackinnon get some chances at 3rd, who’s still sold on him there? (Not that there’s much of anything we can do about it.)
Yeah. I mean, he’s had something like 20 at bats. I’d say that’s enough for me to be pretty sure he just doesn’t have the major leagueness I’m so good at identifying with my Lylin eyes. On top of that he has zero errors at third. It’s obvious he’s just trying to trick me. I hate MacKinnon.
Remember when we Hit 3 HRs and we were Happy?
Yeah, good times…
Fletcher should have replied “You know, fan is short for fanatic Chelsea… so hurr durr dee bitchtit sandscrit.”
Her husband isn’t very good either.
I can understand Montgomery’s Postgame interciew better than Nevin’s mumbling.
I hope Loup gets through whatever he’s going through. If his troubles are being caused by his personal life, that sucks.
If Loup is going through some personal stuff, I’m curious if that’s what is affecting him pitching wise. Or it’s just a coincidence Ms. Terpera brought it up.
Already turned my page. Fun inning we had there at least
Ah, love when the wive’s get involved on twitter. Makes things so much more fun. Can you believe that that’s a free site!

Loup duped the angels
How about those back to back jacks huh? And that… Errr never mind. I’m numb now to these losses.
