This site may not remember (Short Memory Syndrome) but many were unkind to Ward for years, questioning whether or not he should be around or not. At age 27 he got it. Walsh the same. Possibly Adell may be the same. But he needs a lot more AAA work like Ward and Walsh did. Down the road with Adell we may like what we see.
He’s short and lazy, he is another allowed to back off with sight of the plate and watches the catcher. MLB needs to start fighting against this Union protecting the inept.
I was an early bail on Adell’s prospects. Want(ed) to be wrong but he just never passed the eyeball test. Super athletic but maybe just not a great baseball player.
I still think he can be an above average hitter at the MLB level. The question/problem is clearly his defense. Even after alot of work and individual instruction he does not seem much better in the OF.
If he is pushed to a DH role with Shohei around the only answer might be to trade him…
It is just a numbers game here; with Ward now a fixture in the OF and Marsh looking solid he seems to be the odd man out. I like his potential as a hitter, but if you can’t play him in the field what do you do?
Odds are that Shohei will be here awhile, so maybe a trade to a team that could use him at DH would make the most sense.
Send him down??? He was already down for the majority of last season and the season before. How many seasons are we going to hear from Angels’ lapdog apologists (i.e. radio announcers Terry Smith and Mark Langston) and also the biggest lapdog Trent Rush that Adell is still “a work in progress” which is getting REALLY old to hear. It’s obvious they have to tread lightly and do a tap dance. But there comes a time when it’s time to let go and move on and a player become more a liability. That time is clearly right now. Let some other team deal with it………..
Angels batters with 15 strikeouts including Trout with 4 of them…. Pitiful.
You can’t put a halo over this one
Mike will K. Golden Sombrero!!!
We’re the K gang today!!
Been in meetings all day, couldn’t check the score.
I think i’d like to go back to not knowing.
Good choice. 😐
Getaway days suck. Throws everything off
Yup, the old way was better for the fans and player’s.

Patty – Warm up the ehhh…body
Erica – test the groin
This ump seems biased.

Overwhelming evidence that joe adell might be partially blind.
Apparently everything looks like a strike

I think they’ll send him down sooner then later…..he still might figure it out someday. But he will likely always be “Super athletic” and raw

Geez, maybe we should have kept Upton over Adell for this year.
Nah, it least Adell looks like he gives a damn
1 walk vs 22 K’s with terrible defense.
this ^
Damm that was never a strike. That would have been an outstanding BB to take.
Adell…..SMH
PR for Kurt, every run counts.
It’s a start.
We have 6 outs yet to go, We Have The Offense!!
Seriously, if they can scare us with D-Cell then we can knock them a bit with Gravemen
It’s been called GB….you’re welcome to stay…just make sure the lights are out and lock it up when you leave.
Halloween is not scaring anyone*
*except Angel fans
Joe is chalking up the “L.” Mayers is a white flag with 2 legs.
Yep
Adell just makes me sad.
Adell is not a good baseball player. Ballgame BTW.
Ballgame. But I’ll leave the game on in the background
I have it 1:14PM…
