Can Canning calm CtPG? Find out today as the Angels try to get back to .500. Again. Maybe this time it will work.

Couldn’t even get one goddamn base runner in the last three innings to at least give us a chance to see Ohtani hit again. Team just totally quit.
we’re a day closer to Arte not being the owner though! He’s 76
I’m pinning this years fate on Prevention Perry . He hand picked this MLB worst bullpen outside of CRod and Mayers.
The bullpen is totally exhausted. Overuse is a big problem
I think were in trouble
Said as the wing falls off the plane.
Umm, am I reading the box score correctly? Gosselin is batting over .300, and is 2 for 3 today – so we pinch hit for him with Keon Wong batting below the Mendoza line?
Is this little league? Do we need to play everyone?
Sergio Romo for kryst sakes…RIP THE BALL!
That 6-game win streak was a fluke. The A’s gave the Angels a big ‘ol dose of reality.
While I am very disappointed, I don’t think it was a fluke but it might be better described as the year-long canker sore festered once gain…BULLPEN.
Beyond Ohtani, our pitching is pretty much garbage. The decent pitchers we do have(i.e. Heaney, Iglesias, Sandoval) are not consistent….one night you think they got things figured out and the next night they get lit up. So, yeah I do think that 6 game streak was a fluke because we didn’t play any team with a record over .500, they were teams that are just as shitty as we are. This team is not a playoff caliber team and the A’s just showed us why. OUR PITCHING SUCKS!
6 wins against shitty teams and then back to reality.
A’s in Oakland is more like a nightmare
It is just a rerun of pulling a starter and using the Pen. Canning deserved another inning, but Joe pulled the same thing he is wired to do, pulling a starter. But this time with a very low pitch count. Post game he will say “I saw Griffin getting tired out there.”
This is where I seen some things that showed Griffin could have been tiering like in the past
Then that makes us not the shittyest. And we are still in line for the not last place ribbon.

Late to the party, but why did Watson face 6 batters? Was there (again) no one up in the bullpen and they needed to leave him in longer?
It was either 5 or 6 with no registered outs
I saw that. Why 6, instead of subbing him after facing the minimum 3? 6 runs with no outs is not good.
yes. Should have been 3.
No idea how Joe decides his short leash and long leash
Joe and Mike Gallegos use a Ouija Board
Didn’t reach Joe’s pitch count for effectiveness
Joe just likes to watch us get our starters out early so he can’t chose the wrong relief pitcher get clobbered.
Also, did Canning only pitch 69 pitches? Why on earth do you pull him there, with a lead at that?
Nice … That’s why
Joe thought it would be funny to pull Canning after a 69.
Those runs saved by the A’s preventing a bigger first inning and the catch on Upton’s ball have really played an important role in this game. That’s what the A’s do. I hate them but also respect them.
That JUp K of three Fastballs, was just perfect for the A’s.
Just bring your best stuff to the mound. No messing with match up pitch calling.
I was at work, saw an update that it was 4-0 Angels early!. Okay, get one out of three better than being swept. And then…..
Are masks required at stadiums?
I think we’ll get more runs. Enough? Hmmmm…
It’s ballgame….
I wonder if Rendon would’ve helped
Can he pitch?
Joke never gets old huh?
Nope.
Never will until this team can actually pitch.
Had to get a gift call to get out of the inning. Not a lot of good to see here.
Come in 6 out, leave 9 out. It was fun to watch the Angels get back into it, but I suppose it’s nice of them to dash all hopes now and end their season well before the All Star break. I have another kid coming in a couple days, so I can stop caring about baseball again.
Congratulations
Congrats! Hope they are healthy and sleep like a dream as soon as possible.
Congrats! Hope all is well and (not causing too much sleep loss)!
Ballgame
Honestly I hope the A’s move and this cesspool of a stadium is destroyed and turned into a shopping mall. The A’s fans can then sit outside the Walmart playing their drums and blowing horns.
I’m excited about the upcoming Detroit series
I hope baseball is shut down next season. At least we will be another year closer to Moreno no longer owning this team.
only in the sense that he’ll die eventually but then we’ll be closer to that, too.
We need an owner like the Dodgers have. This owner couldn’t run a Girl scout troop.
Can’t be 2 of you and you are just the same with the same things to say.
Just exactly what site are you talking about?
If you are upset that I am angry about this team then I am sorry you feel that way. I have also been following this team for a very long time and have had it with the losing. There is no excuse for this. Even bad teams have a good season once in awhile. The last time we had a winning season was in 2015. This team is run by people who have no clue about how to run a baseball team and it makes me mad.
CUBS and Mariner fans would like a word with you on watching losing/bad teams for too long.
The thing is the Mariners and Cubs at least have an above .500 season once in awhile. This team can’t even do that anymore.
He will sell before, just before. That way he can self brag to himself about how much he made in his life.
What?
That’s right. Maybe it would reset things in MLB and Oakland and Houston will no longer be the cheating powerhouses they are right now.
Wow two games in a row, a bat around.
