The Angels seem to be taking full advantage of tomorrow’s off-day, piggybacking it with some rest today. Excited to see what Lagares can do in center. Drew Butera will carry us to victory.
Angels Lineup: Ohtani DH, Iglesias 6, Walsh 3, Ward 9, Rojas 4, Lagares 8, Gosselin 5, Jay 7, Butera 2. Heaney 1.
Astros Lineup: Altuve 4, Brantley 7, Bregman 5, Álvarez DH, Gurriel 3, Correa 6, Tucker 9, McCormick 8, Maldonado 2. Urquidy 1.
When they announce Redon might be back by Friday? Always assume it’s Sunday, or Monday and likely Tuesday.
Rojas was a nice story about a local kid making the hometown team but it’s just not working. Needs to start producing and get some multi-hit games as his defensive skills are average at best.
I love to see the humiliation for Joe though, he’s never been a trash team til now. All that optimism goes down the drain when you win 68 games
A 1000 light years away from beating these asshole. Pathetic
Was it just a rest day for Trout, or is he still pouting about Pujols?
Enough with the pouting comments already
Tar and feathers for Angels2020Champs. Heaney and Sandoval both sucked big time right after he favorably mentioned them.
Get’em!
Tar is warming. Using my old law enforcement resources to find his location. 🙂
Let’s go easy, he’s a good guy. Maybe just scare him a little.
Praising Heaney is inexcusable though, he should know better, needs to learn a lesson.
I’ll use down feathers then.
Easy tweddle dumb remember how well group think worked out for the Germans
Go and have a chat with Matt Wise. I’m sure he has a few words of wisdom for you.
Why don’t the Angels employ the brushback pitch? Too comfortable at the plate.
We need the rule they used in the preseason – Maddon can just say “we’re done.”
We’d lead MLB in using that too..
Sandoval back in line….he is, who we thought he was. And he let them off the hook.
Party is over.
Sandoval for mayor! anything but an Angels pitcher.
Shit-the-Bed Bedrosian looks good compared to the current crop of relievers.
Add Tucker to list of guys that torches us…
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Still worth watching for Sandoval
Did you see the monster home run earlier this inning?
Unfortunately. Oh well. I still like watching and rooting for these guys
It is a sickness we both share.
and that should do it. At least we raised a little hope.
I guess I don’t understand why you would play Ohtani, a day after he pitched and played in the field, in a game that you’re clearly not trying to win. Or why you’d start Heaney for that matter.
MVP minimum ABs?
I’m hanging around in hopes that Rojas hits one of these F’ers in the nuts in the bottom of the inning.
Too bad we just got a nut-shot from Alvarez.
Slow hit to right and they hold the runner? Send his ass!!!
Dammit.
