this will probably get lost since it’s past midnight so I’ll bring it up in the news thread tomorrow. I just watched Stephen A Smith’s so-called apology. #$^% you, buddy!

His following is based on speaking loud and saying outrageous things. Unfortunately he received more publicity for this utterance of idiocy than he has received in the last 12 months.

To be honest, until Walsh caught that ball, I was saying that I’d have been happy for the NL to get a salami, just because the pitcher was a Chowd.

Very happy he made he catch. Would have hated to have him watch old highlights if the ball had gotten by him. Tough assignment playing left when he is positioned on the right side of the diamond.

really good day. We drafted another 100 pitchers, Marsh and Adell got two hits each (in a loss but never mind that), Ohtani gets the win, Walsh with the defensive highlight. This’ll keep us happy waiting for Friday.

Ohtani is the winning pitcher and Walsh made the winning or game saving catch!

Shohei hits 28 HR in the HR Derby and gets the win. A nice 1st experience for sure.

Guessing, Shohei belts one in the first Angel game after the break.

Vladdy Jr.is a MASHER. Just getting started. Hopefully they will be able to play in front of their fans soon. It’s gonna be rocking.

Steven A is having a fit on the MPV interview.

Jr mostly grew up in the US, did he not?

He is also technically a Canadian (not sure what Steven A thinks about Canada, though…)

Vladdy Jr needs an interpreter from growing up in Canada?

A-Rod: “Born in Canada, raised in Dominican”

Stephen A Smith – is that you?

I Guess Vladdy Jr.’s mom speaks fluent french from their days in Montreal . It would have been extra cool if Jr spoke through his interpreter in French instead of Spanish.

Seriously that ball could have easily gotten by and we would still be playing. WALSH – MVP!

I think if Walsh had gone over the wall instead of just warning track after that catch, he would have been MVP

“Behind a scoreless first inning from two-way sensation Shohei Ohtani, home runs from Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Mike Zunino and a key defensive play from Ohtani’s Angels teammate Jared Walsh, the AL beat the NL, 5-2, on a perfect summer night in front of 49,184 fans in the Mile High City”

Funny how that hitter everyone says shouldn’t pitch anymore went 0-2 and threw a scoreless inning.

That’s baseball.

Happy for Vladdy Jr, nice AL win!

Now the long wait until Friday :/

Shohei walks out of here with the WIN. Better than a HR Derby title.
