IT is real the Angels have been sold.
In a surprise announcement, Stan Kroenke, the owner of the Los Angeles Rams, announced he has purchased the Angels baseball team form Arte Moreno.
April First is April Fools Day, September First is now Prayers Ducking Answered Day.
New owner with multiple proven winners (Avs, Rams, Arsenal). New stadium coming most likely. New hope in CtPG land. Old friends reappearing. Christmas came early this year and we got everything we asked for. Nothing in life is a sure thing but few fanbases get this many examples of past success

The title of this post “Arte Gone” reminded me of this Will Clark story of Rickey Henderson. Pretty funny if you haven’t seen it.
Joined awhile back but long time lurker, but what better time to post than now! The struggle of being an Angels fan who has moved to Houston will hopefully be a much better experience! Looking forward to seeing how things play out in the coming years.

Kroneke did buy out Arte’s share of the franchise. Kroneke did not buyout any minority owners that existed as part of Arte’s ownership group.
Keep in mind the minority owners could have had only fractional shares in the team.
Arte is in fact gone.
Tonight’s game was more of the same but you could feel a new energy. I’m optimistic that this old Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim team will return to the competitive team the California/Anaheim Angels were.

I enjoyed $6 tickets, from a third party seller, for tonight’s game. I’ll miss the cheap tickets days, but not that much. I look forward to the future.
