Agreed.

But I see a 10-game losing streak brewing here. Could lock down the tank soon unless the Rocks keep tanking just as bad.

The Angels pitching I think is a good bit better than most people give it credit for. Having Lowe, Trout and Adell in the OF most of the year, who are all negative WAR fielders had to cause so many balls to fall in. They need Rada to take over for Lowe just so that we have one ball hawk in the OF. Move Trout to DH.

He cranked a homer last night in Cucamonga. Chicks were going cray. Proceeded to walk off the field, bypassed the dugout to get in his car and hit 10 Fwy to 57 fwy. Came out tonight and 1st AB knocked a run in, then the 3-run homer robbery, He’s….THE MECK. Chicks dig him.

Silver lining: only 4 K’s for our batters.

Bet some teams in contention currently wish they had sweetened the pot in Detmers sweepstakes.

solid write up Charles.

Really this is the best case scenario for the Angels. Guys who will be here next year played well. A dude who won’t be blew the game. Angels kept pole position for the waiver wire and top draft pick.

Way too many guys on this team doing absolutely f’ing nothing. Why is Lowe still playing with an OPS barely above 600 in late August? What do the Angels need to see that he is not a major league player. Also why did the Angels keep Peralta and dfa Fulmer when Fulmer actually looked ok. Do they actually think Peralta is a keeper? But yea Moz is going to right this ship…. There is a reason he was forced out of STL.

Next offense will get cranking and starting pitching will fall off the cliff.

The blowpen is the ktryptonite. I called it to my son in the 3rd inning: “As soon as they pull Detmers, they are toast.”

The burial ground is the kryptonite.

We’ve been wasting a lot of 1 run starts lately.

Win or lose, keep em coming. Nothing better than a QS except a CG.
