Just praying the Angels can somehow negatively impact the Red Sux season.
Angels at Red Sox Game 2 Gamethread
Just to show how stable Neto’s profile is, using his current rate metrics:
2024: .330 wOBA, 117 wRC+
2025: .337 wOBA, 117 wRC+
2026: .332 wOBA, 113 wRC+
Who wants to bet he has a handful more runs created in his back pocket to end the season at an even three year pace?
Neto giving a demonstration tonight of how much he’s built for Fenway, and instilling the front office and Boston faithful with some regrets.
Is my internetz broken or does everyone only post when Trout’s playing too deep or Neto strikes out?
😀
Moises opened up this season on fire, hitting .387/.435/.710 over a 25 game stretch, following up his age 21 cup of coffee with the Cubs, where he hit .298/.394/.474.
Would be nice if he closed out September this year how he closed out Sept last year, and opened up Mar/April this year.
Detmers’ FIP is down to 3.03.
I remember at the deadline, the fans dragging Detmers the worst were Boston fans. They didn’t like the prospect packages that were rumored to being floated for Detmers, and claimed he was overrated.
Then their GM traded half their farm for Adley, and they couldn’t have been more wrong about Reid.
Unless the Angels can get an all-star MLB ready stick, I’m thinking he is and should remain a Halo. KSE changes up the go forward plan.
Well, that’s certainly my position,
But Sox fans were still wrong about Reid at the deadline – he would have helped their campaign in the playoffs. And before Kroenke, I think trading Detmers, had it brought back names like Arias or Eyanson, would probably have been a wise move, as the team was in a doom loop with Arte.
