The suspension killed Soler’s momentum.. He’s back to being terrible.

He was flailing and swinging at pitches WAAAAY out of the zone. He wasn’t doing that prior to the suspension..
He faced King who is probably the worst matchup for him even when he’s going well.

OMG, we did it again.
I am caught up today, we have just 2 hits. 7 BBs though.
They are pitching around Mike…. He’s got 3 walks and the guys behind him have not come through in the clutch…
2 for Nero as well. Really like the fact that he is walking.. It makes him a much better hitter.
Except if Schanuel, Soler and Adell don’t drive him in it doesn’t help us win.
He kinda undoes some of that benefit getting out on the bases.
That is true.
King was also in the shadow zone all day – a baffling edgelord – had a lot of guys guessing.
He’s a real good pitcher…. that’s why the 1st inning fail was so big.

Yep. First three swings were not even close to strikes…. Stammen is a good manager.
The Angels make it easy to be good.
And NOW we see just how stupid Suzuki is… leaving Urena in those extra two batters means we are still behind instead of being tied.
That’s a tie game if Suzuki doesn’t mismanage the top of the inning.

Next time they show Jo’s third HR catch, I want to spot the girl shooting the iconic picture.
