In addition to the green light for Logan, Not stealing on Williams was also a missed opportunity by Wash. he’s Kenley Jansen style slow to the plate so Gifo and then Adell both should have gone. You take away the force out on the ball Adell hits in the hole and that’s a different inning.

Great point. Another way our manager and coaches fail ; they are not adequately prepared. They don’t understand the opponent and fail to target their weaknesses.

Yeah, I think Wash was going for the win right there, knowing that Lugo was on deck. He was hoping Williams grooved one. I get the idea, but I agree with you. I don’t like giving the green light. Hitters tend to be impatient and overly aggressive.

I actually think Perry did a decent job this offseason re: free agency given the relative budget constraints due to the black hole contracts with Trout/Rendon.
That said( this Chris Taylor signing is awful. If this washed player can’t hit in the doyer lineup, how’s he going to hit in our below average lineup?

Good point The lineup coupled with all the accurate pitch data and preparation they provide. If you can’t hit for the Doyers you can’t hit anywhere.
