The irony is definitely not lost on me as this ESPN expert analyst claims Alde is probably the least susceptible to an injury in the entire organization yet no-one has heard a peep from him since camp opened 3 weeks ago.
Obviously this team’s gonna go 17-145. Why do I even need eyes and ears if i have to watch this?
Silent C? Wants a job? we’ll see how Detmers looks tomorrow.
Dana found the MLB and it mauled him. That’s OK. He’s getting lots of experience and tape. I think he’ll get good work done in the MiLB and come up strong later. He made good post ST adjustments last year.
Could we have Soriano, Kickuci, Hendricks, Detmers, Silent C after a trade of Anderson early in the season? Wouldn’t be the worst thing ever.
MDH! You had a good outing! It’s a good day after all! McDanials with the long hold. Stupid Perry may have found the man who will save us from all the wailing and tearing of blouses when Suarez pitches.
It would be wild and fun if Paris breaks camp with us. Have to wait a couple weeks and see if he holds up once MLB arms start using all their tricks.
O’Hoppe continues to be a manly man who is most manly. Good to see him not too rusty.
Another sunset. Another day Brock Burke hasn’t given up jack shit yet. Trade bait in a couple months? Would you hold onto Suarez for eight weeks/ten appearances in order to trade Burke for prospects in June?
Not if I had to give up on McDanials… but Quijada?…. nah, he’s trade bait too. Suarez gotta go and if we trade guys we’ll just have to roll with lefty kids.
Other than Maxine Waters is there anything in SoCal as tired looking and played out as the Angels uniforms? It’s not fair that the Marlins and D Backs get like 20 new uniforms a decade and we get this lame shit again and again.
We should pull a sassy move and start being purple and gold……
Tyler will have another poor showing in odd numbered year. In fact, I think he will get bombed early and often. How long will Wash stay with him in walk year ? I think we will see two of Silent C, Detmers and Silseth sooner rather than later …
I had a high bar, high expectations for CMo coming into this season. After meeting him and watching him the last three weeks, I can honestly say he’s exceeded my already high expectations. He is wired differently and you can sense a passion to excel. And you can sense if this young core team continues to grow and excel, it will be CMo who will emerge as their soul and leader. Still doubt he makes opening day roster, but he has impressed as a major dude.
Nice. I saw him on 30 Clubs and he seems very coachable. Washington talked about making decisions and Moore repeated he’s trying to make the correct decisions.
Take talent and drive like that and add the desire to learn and you can produce a great player.
No but they have this thing called the IL
Plus I would imagine Rengifo is the projected starter at second base although there has been more a push to have be more of a utility player. I believe Paris has played exclusively at sencnd base this spring so he would either start in Anaheim or the great Salt Lake. So maybe the Angels would make Paris the starter and move Rengifo around the diamond even if hes slowed by injuries.
I am digging the ABS challenge system. I think this is a nice balance between keeping the humanity in the game but smoothing out the potential for game altering bad calls.
Anyone know what’s going on Sam Aldegheri? Did he have Visa issues coming from Italy? Is he hurt? He hasn’t pitched in any spring games this year.
Dated March 1st. No mention of anything. But has superlatives said about him.
Day to day? traditional MIA?

TrAdition.
MiLB camp is just opening now.

CMo putting together nice tape this spring. Easy to envision him as our future 2B
I like Terry Smith , but after a couple of hours of “A chase and a Miss” my eyes and ears start to glaze over
Still haven’t forgiven him for having to hear “trout of here” on every mike trout home run.
Mr. Tight to the Line…big fan of Terry Smith
Dana will be fine. He’s 21.
5th spot down to Silent C vs. Detmers vs. Silseth
Tyler will have another poor showing in odd numbered year. In fact, I think he will get bombed early and often. How long will Wash stay with him in walk year ? I think we will see two of Silent C, Detmers and Silseth sooner rather than later …
Everyone will get their opportunity to start. There’s no need to write TA’s 2025 season in ST haha
Not based on Spring but Tyler’s recent history of regular seasons :
2023 : 5.43 ERA , 4.92 FIP
2021 : 4.81 ERA , 4.52 FIP
2019 : 11.76 ERA , 7.62 FIP (small sample)
In a larger sense he has been alternating good years and very bad years. He had a good year last season, so we know what comes next …
Odd years are rough, maybe 2025 will break that cycle

🤣🤣🤣
That’s so great.
No doubt it’s a fascinating trend
Yes but this is the Year of the Snake so he’ll be fine.

How long have they been allowing pitchers to reenter the spring games? I don’t remember seeing it before this year
At least a year
Thanks. Cleveland is glad to have him back in 😩
Pretty sure I’ve seen this in years past but can’t remember when.
I went to a game a decade ago when Pujols was given a pinch runner every time he reached base but stayed in the lineup.
I’m pretty sure in Spring the managers just discuss things and go with what they agree on. To a degree, anyway.
That makes sense since the games don’t mean anything.
back to Rocket City
The Silent C vs Dana battle today has been very one-sided.
Moore seems to be doing ok, at least
This game fits the established Angels pattern. Leave men on base then blow a one run lead on walks and bonehead plays
Midseason form.
And Cleveland has had our number for a long time now ….
Ballgame.
Old Dana (Anderson) continues to look better than young Dana.
That stupid Star hates us.
Cheap Arte said no to sunglasses
After a couple weeks, I’m can pretty confidently say that Mr. Lugo is not the answer for outfield depth.
can he be returned?
Are you kidding me?
Its obvious he was born to be an Angel.
Lol with any luck he will keep showing up year after year in the doldrums of the big league season to hang out for a couple weeks and bat .170
the horror show scenario is him taking MNT’s roster spot in April due to injury.
KKKavadas
GGoK’s
They took him out before he could go for the golden sombrero.

Hopefully it’s all starting to click for the kid. He’s been impressive.
How does Rengifo’s slow start help Paris. Are they going to demote Rengifo?

He certainly has looked scrappy all spring. It’s going to take more than that for me to consider him a legitimate option though.
If he starts the season in SLC and manages to put up some good numbers for a couple months there, then maybe he will have my attention.
Jack getting it done
Kochanowicz pitching like he wants that 5th starter spot.

The review process is so fast too, it works well.
And Nada should lose his challenge privileges after that one
Definitely feels like tennis; very quick. I wonder how many many challenges teams will get when MLB implements it
Send a memo to basketball and football to explain how it can be done faster and better.
