Cant wait until the A’s play the Orioles in Sacramento next year. The scoreboard will read:

Silseth left the game with one out in the 3rd inning today in Salt Lake . I just watched the replay. He gave up a deep fly to left and then pointed to his elbow when the manager came out to the mound.

More TrAdition for Angel fans. See you in ’26 kid.

Im a little surprised that the Angels are going to pitch Garcia today since rumors (as sketchy as they may be) are he’ll be gone by Tuesday.

O’Hoppe has looked awful lately at the plate . Maybe the effects of full time catching are taking their toll

I think he’s also just kind of a streaky hitter to begin with.

That is what I think Cowboy. He has started every game this series. In fact, I think he has started every game since the 2nd have started except for the very first game in Oakland. Wash is running him into the ground. I know we need his bat, but he plays the hardest and most taxing defensive position. You have to rest your catchers. Especially a day game after a night game … Or rest him the night before the day game…

Still hitting .279 with a .792 OPS.

His slugging was .608 in June. July it’s .391 so there has been a decline.

I think Logic is talking about slugging by month.

Yes. I was comparing June to July.

Got it. He had some HRs in June so he was definitely slugging better last month.

Ohoppe has never been above .500 this year. Adel is perhaps the .608 to .391 player.

honestly he should be paying the Angels to play right now. Only way he gets any type of contract other than a non-roster invite is if he shows something the last two months in abs he doesn’t deserve to get.

Geez Renny you ain’t helping your cause lately if you really want to play for a winner . Maybe he’s worried about the extradition laws if he needs to move to another state ?

Nolan created that HBP opportunity by fouling off pitches and laying off pitches off the plate. That was probably pitch 7.

I’m curious what Barry and Karsay have done with Roansy since Perry acquired him in May . He’s really settled into a competent high leverage reliever

Enright has been a breath of fresh air compared to Wise. I posted the other night about how much credit he deserves.

Several guys have made noticeable adjustments for huge improvements this year – Roansy, Estevez, Joyce, Anderson.

Reclamation guys like Fulmer and Strickland are pitching well too.
