Based on the schedule, we’re looking at most likely at 12 game losing streak (16 losses out of 17 and 20 losses out of 22) when they get swept by the Astros and Dodgers, and Braves. Maybe they get one against the Royals. If you have the two best players in baseball and you’re still that bad, I don’t see how you justify keeping them aside from selling tickets. Trout and Ohtani are basically bread and circuses at this point.
I have no idea if the stats back this up, but Iglesias’s fastball in the second half of his games this year looks like it lost 5-6 inches of vertical movement from last year. I don’t know if that’s the problem or not, but it’s noticeable
Idk, I’ve seen more consecutive games this year with him with a virtually straight fastball than ever before. Seriously, go watch his 2021 highlights versus now. He’s also lot a lot of Velo so that might lower spin / decrease movement, idk. I think he’s down 1.5-2 mph

I think it’s more just game-to-game. Some games he’s got that movement and stuff and other games he just whah-whah.

Yeah its likely happening more often this year, but he has had a few electric games this year.
Not as good this year and seems to struggle particularly bad in non save situations. Not ideal
