This is what we get for jettisoning Mancini.

Angels won every series when he was on the roster.

The only thing that has surprised me today was that Neto walked.

Kerry’s ERA, previously infinite, is now down to 13.50

now 9.00. 5 years after being drafted, 27 years old, glad he’s getting his chance.

Trout has warmed up a little. Was at .223, now at a “robust” .235

Something called Bret Kerry is on the mound.

As someone who follows the farm, I cannot believe Kerry made the majors.

Good for him! He’s gonna get blasted 😂

She obviously DIDN’T see the ball hit him because if she did, then it’s a 1 second conversation.

So Siri is awfully comfortable with his spot on the team. Jogging to 1B. He must love playing for a player’s manager.

Siri has Neto Disease, I noticed on his last HR. Admired it before starting to first base.

Algernon was pretty effective before today. He’s young and can hopefully learn from this.

hey all! I saw a clip of Neto’s HR a short while ago and thought “oh yeah, day game! I’ll check in on it!” So I did. I was better off thinking we were up 1-0.

Just keep thinking that way Eric. You’ll be happier.

It says it’s 108 in Phoenix right now?

I love the Phoenix stadium. 120 outside, 72 inside

Never visited the MLB stadium (mostly around the MiLB/ST parks). Is the climate that well controlled there?

Well I don’t know about 72, but I went to the Futures game there when Trout was scheduled to play but called up. It was SOOOOO hot outside and then you came in it felt like South Coast Plaza.

Yuck 😭. I know SoCal is expensive and that’s because you can’t beat our weather

Rex nearly killed himself a while back hiking in that hot weather.

The Angels bringing up guys from AAA and having them look ok, just makes their decision to give Lowe so much rope baffling. I have never seen so many horrible abs like Lowe was putting up. His swings and swing decisions were so bad.

He’s tearing it up in the PCL 🙂

He’s striking out so much though still.

Yes he is.

He’s been pretty up and down of late in the PCL honestly. His batting average fell to .261 in the Reno series, which is like hitting .200 in the MLB.

Agreed. I was just kind of pointing out you can’t really use PCL numbers to determine much. At least some numbers.

Fair. Most former MLB guys look heroic in the PCL.

Yes because Niko is the ultimate PCL star.

Aldegheri is a rookie and would not be here if not for multiple injuries. He’s also had some solid outings.

Testify! He’s been pitching fairly well so far. Everyone, including Soriano, has had a bad day where their stuff just wasn’t there.

Yeah, he is what he is. Still has a plausible future as a 5th starter pitchability lefty.

The only way he gets to that future is to refine his command and learn MLB hitters. And probably suffer a few more outings like this one along the way.
