ok, we have played 30 games. By the end of this series we’ll be 20% of the way through the season. I have always said that you know what you’ve got at 40 games but this year I think 30 games is enough.

Pomeranz: 8.74 ERA
Romano will not get claimed and will eventually return: 10.13
Lucchesi: 12.00
Sandlin: 14.29

All signed by Perry this year. If he had a conscience he’d resign.

At least Ryan Johnson (16.20) and George Klassen (11.57) are young.

and like the announcers are pointing out, they are doing worse than they have in the past.

Also just noticed Chris Cortez has 20 walks to 13 strikeouts. He was a 2nd round pick… Man our draft team sucks too. He looks like he’s regressing as well from last season, which doesn’t bode well for the Angels pitching factory….

Ben Joyce, Chris Cortez, Chase Shores.

The second picks in three of Minasian’s drafts. All relief profiles. And three other second round picks were forfeited for free agent signings (Rendon, Thor, Tyler Anderson).

Instead of college arms Bremner and Shores in 2025, I was drafting college arms Kade Anderson and Anthony Eyanson on my board. (No diss on Bremner, who has been good, but Kade has been better.)

To date over four starts:
Kade Anderson, AA, 0.48 ERA,14.46 K/9, 1.93 BB/9
Anthony Eyanson, A+,0.54 ERA, 14.58 K/9, 0.00 BB/9

My two high school bat targets in the first three rounds were Taitn Gray and Quentin Young. As I predicted, Young is struggling out of the gate. But Gray?

.344/.451/.563, 3 HRs and a 168 wRC+ in A ball.

Minasian had an interesting, high-risk draft. I like my draft class better in the early going.

It’s kinda sad that the year Arte went completely cheap on the bullpen is the year we’d so far at least be decent if we had a decent bullpen. This is easily the worst one I’ve seen. I do not trust any reliever down there. Burke instead of Lowe looks so good right now. And Perry is looking like an idiot on basically every trade he made. Why does he still have a job?

37 runs allowed in 4 games against the Royals and White Sox. At this point, I’m speechless.

Fermin looked good. And uh…we scored 7. Jack did well. Probably should have stuck with him instead of putting in…Sandlin!???

Whatever, we’re cooked.

Hopefully Trout continues to stay healthy & post numbers. We trade him and wish him success.

That’s all I got.

Special K deserves a W.

Trout with 2 hits. Trade him to a contender now. It’s better for both parties. The obvious move is to LA – presuming that Arte can park his pride.

The LA storyline with
Shohei writes itself.

No way Trout to Dodgers. I can see it now, give him magic juice, flood him with all the spying analytics the war room cameras gather on the other teams, and suddenly he’s back to MVP level. Hoisting the trophy with Ohtani, Mike Trout the ‘Dodger’ legend. Angels who?? All the while the LA fans troll and mock us. F them, I’m already sick of all the Ohtani hazing
