Josh Lowe can’t hit lefties and never will be able to hit lefties. If he had a 459 OPS against them when he was 27 the odds of him ever learning to hit them are slim to none. Teo actually hit them OK last year. Obvious call to just pinch him him once it’s a lefty.

Logan O’Hoppe behind the plate is a much bigger issue IMO.

Agree. Seriously, the Angels needed to demote him last year and set him up with a back to the basics program. Looks bad on both sides of the ledger.

Would disagree just a tad with that…. too many double plays and wasted opportunities. If the offense had capitalized early with lots of chances the game would have been over by the 5th inning.

Why is the guy that tops out at 90 not the guy you put in when the game is f’ing decided already. When he wasn’t pitching in SF last year his OPS allowed was nearly 800. Surely there is someone in AAA better.
