If this were the NFL, they would make head first sliding illegal and an automatic out. Safety first. IMO, it would be a good rule for baseball to implement.

This is why I have been against investing in him long term right now. He is an injury risk because of the way he plays. Also there is no reason to slide at all at 1B or home unless it’s to avoid a tag. You get there faster by running.

Christian Moore to AAA. That’s fine. I want to see Denzer, Paris and Moore develop in that infield. Guys like Lugo and Rada can marinate in AAA too. The pitchers like Dana, Aldegheri Klassen should all be in AAA too learning how to win. They need to learn to win at each level. At least make the AAA playoffs. That’s why I asked one time who is the AAA manager. I think that a top 5 role on the org.
